Tasty delectables in Bloomington
Posted in Drinks & Dining on 25. Feb, 2010
Being originally from CA and having traveled a lot, I have developed a taste for fine food. I have to say after living here for a year and a half and frequenting Bloomington for years before that, I am extremely impressed with the variety and quality of food.
I am a vegetarian who eats seafood and was pleasantly surprised to find my choices were vast. I am obsessed with the fish tacos at Malibu Grille can barely order anything else, I love Max’s pizza just North of the square, the Greek pizza is one of my favorites.
I go to pasta night @ Eagle Pointe every Tuesday if I can, very reasonable and very flavorful. The Uptown Brewery has a really tasty Ahi tuna entrée on the dinner menu. Love the crab Rangoon at Japonaise and the saganaki (fried cheese) at the Trojan Horse. And these are just a few off the top of my head right now. Of course, I could talk about food for days, in fact I’m making myself hungry. I’ll have to go out to eat and report back.
